Plant A Tree Day in Tuscon | Borton Magnet Elementary School | sabato, 26. ottobre 2019

Get your hands dirty and do something good for nature this fall!
Join One Tree Planted and the Borton Elementary School in our environmental learning day!
This year, as part of a 3rd grade project, Who Will Speak for the Trees? Why and How?, students have surveyed trees on our campus to learn about the impact trees have on our environment.  The culminating part of our project is to learn how to properly care for trees so that they can live long and have the maximum positive benefit for our environment.
During this community event we invite everyone to join us for a workshop from local arborists teaching our community the proper way to trim and prune trees.  Community members will then take that knowledge and trim trees on the Borton Campus.  This knowledge will extend into community members neighborhoods as they care for the trees at their home. Come join us in this fun day of envionemental learning!
